One of the biggest things I’ve been sitting with lately is this:

Everything is a mirror.

The people we admire.
The people who trigger us.
The work we avoid.
The rooms we step into.
The things we are afraid to be seen doing.

All of it reflects something back.

And lately, I’ve been noticing how often people see something in me that is really something they are seeing within themselves.

That is why I love asking people:

What do you see?

Because every answer is different.

And every answer reveals something.

I recently facilitated two workshops at the Welcome Home burn, and I’m still processing what that experience unlocked in me.

I’ll share more in a future episode, but the short version is this:

There is something powerful about stepping into a room, holding space, and realizing you do not have to perform power.

You just have to stand in it.

That experience reminded me that leadership is not always loud. Sometimes it is presence. Sometimes it is listening. Sometimes it is asking the right question and letting the room meet itself.

This week, I’m sharing a reflection on what Rise + Rebel Shop has already taught me about vulnerability, shame, entrepreneurship, and the ego struggle of being new again.

Building this brand in real time has shown me where I still feel afraid to be visible, imperfect, and seen figuring it out.

It has also reminded me how much joy there is in falling in love with the process.
